We are so excited about our upcoming show, which is completely sold out of space. Our last addition to our show is Flowerz. They are a floral shop located in the heart of Kitsilano and their work is amazing.

Grand Prize at our Richmond Wedding Show – A Wedding Affair

We are pleased to announce that A Wedding Affair will be awarding a $5000 Grand Prize at our Richmond wedding show to one lucky bride.

The winner will be announced at the end of the show. The grand prize will include a Girls Night Out Package from the River Rock Casino Resort, travel luggage by The Bay, a decor package from Imagine That Events, an engagement shoot package, limo service and much more.

A Wedding Affair – our Richmond wedding show

Happy New Year! January has been a busy month for us. We have been busy planning and finalizing details for our upcoming wedding show on February 26th at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond.

For the first time, our show will be giving out a $5000 grand prize to one lucky bride. Details on the grand prize will be added to our site shortly.

All brides are grooms are invited to come on down and enjoy complimentary admission. There will be food, wine, entertainment, and much more.

Holiday Season 2011

It is that time of the year again! The decorating and parties started in November. Creating winter wonderlands, setting up casinos, sprucing up trees and adding classy touches of holiday and entertainment to events has kept us on the go.

It has been an inspiring season to see companies gratitude and appreciation of their staff. It is a time to pay if forward and a time to say thank you for a great year of hard work. We have heard on more than one occasion over the years, a speech from management conveying a message of thanks to everyone through tough times that it would not have been possible without their hard work and dedication.

We will wrap up our parties in mid December and take a much needed holiday. Thanks to all our staff for an awesome 2011. We appreciate all your help.

We want to wish all our clients, our suppliers and all the newlyweds out there a very Happy Holiday and Happy New Year!

Summer 2011

The Summer of 2011 was full of color. This was the season of anything goes. Our couples were all amazing to work with and we enjoyed every last wedding. Our goal has always been to work with couples that trust us to give them the wedding that they always envisioned and we delivered it this season. Pictures of all the weddings will be added to our wedding gallery this fall.

We want to expecially thank a few venues. River Rock, Terminal City Club, Mayfair Lakes and Bridges Restaurant. They gave us the extra hand in delivering what we call a perfect day for all our perfect couples.

Grad season and wedding season are in full swing. It is half way through 2011 and we would like to thank everyone on our event planning team for all the help and assistance into this busy year. Spring time weddings are paving our way into what will be a very busy Summer season for Imagine That Events. Our goal has always been to wow our clients and ourselves with creative ideas to give each wedding its own unique signature. This year is the year where our clients are looking to be original. We are very excited for this and will share our experiences with you over the months to come.

As well, golf tournament season has begun! We have had the pleasure of going shopping for a couple dozen of prizes and wrapping them to be presented at our clients annual golf tournament. Shopping for the worst foursome can be interesting! Big or small task, we are up for the challenge.

2011 has been an exciting year. We hosted our annual wedding show “A Wedding Affair” in February. The show was buzzing with ideas and excited brides. Overall, we could have not asked for a better group of people to help us host this event. We always believed that a small boutique style wedding show is more personal, powerfull and has an impact on all guests.

We would like to thank the River Rock Casino Resort one more time for their support with “A Wedding Affiar.”

The show helped us to get to know all our referral partners even better. It gives us more confidence in referring them. Our #1 DJ referall is Hot Wax Mobile!

We look forward 20 planning our 2012 show!

The fall of 2010 has been a bustling one. Wedding season ran from October till our last 2010 wedding on Dec. 30th. It has been a busy year for tying the knot. We enjoyed working with all our brides in 2010 and wish nothing but happiness for the newly weds.

As wedding season slowed down in December, the Christmas decorating began. We decorated store fronts, lobbies of offices and transformed 4 floors of office space into an old fashioned Christmas feel. Our corporate clients went all out this year with casino parties, winter wonderland decor, live entertainment and visits from Santa Claus.

2010 was a good year. We want to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
