Spring 2011

2011 has been an exciting year. We hosted our annual wedding show “A Wedding Affair” in February. The show was buzzing with ideas and excited brides. Overall, we could have not asked for a better group of people to help us host this event. We always believed that a small boutique style wedding show is more personal, powerfull and has an impact on all guests.

We would like to thank the River Rock Casino Resort one more time for their support with “A Wedding Affiar.”

The show helped us to get to know all our referral partners even better. It gives us more confidence in referring them. Our #1 DJ referall is Hot Wax Mobile!

We look forward 20 planning our 2012 show!

December 2010

The fall of 2010 has been a bustling one. Wedding season ran from October till our last 2010 wedding on Dec. 30th. It has been a busy year for tying the knot. We enjoyed working with all our brides in 2010 and wish nothing but happiness for the newly weds.

As wedding season slowed down in December, the Christmas decorating began. We decorated store fronts, lobbies of offices and transformed 4 floors of office space into an old fashioned Christmas feel. Our corporate clients went all out this year with casino parties, winter wonderland decor, live entertainment and visits from Santa Claus.

2010 was a good year. We want to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

September 2010

The Summer of 2010 has been a busy one. Almost every weekend was booked from June through September. Color schemes came in a wide array with shades of purple in the lead. This was the year where we truly could say that anything goes. From romantic Hydrangea centrepieces to white willow table arrangements to tables filled with jewels and lanterns hung above. Each week our brides challenged us and allowed us to use our creative juices to turn there venues into a vision to remember.

We enjoyed working with many vendors during the wedding season including the River Rock Casino Resort, UBC Boathouse, Dan Fontaine Photography, Ritz Catering, Louis Gervais Catering, Balconi Florist, GJ Florist, Richmond Golf & Country Club, Fairmont Pacific Rim and the Stanley Park Rowing Cl.ub to name a few. Working with awesome vendors allows us to excel in what we do.

At this time, 2011 looks like it will be even busier. Thanks to all our referral partners for keeping us busy.

March 2010

The first 3 months of the year were unlike any other year. We prepared for all our 2010 Vancovuer Olympic clients. Hanging Canada flags, setting up dispalys and helping people celebrating a once in a lifetime opportunity was an expereice that we will never forget. It was a natural transition from Christmas to Olympics. Imagine That Events would like to thank all our clients for the opportunities given to help assist them with events that were full of Canadian spirit.

December 2009

2009 was a great year for Imagine That Events. Our clients this year have been exceptional. Planing events and wedding is our passion and we know 2010 will be even a better year. The staff of Imagine That Events would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year.

October 2009

We discovered a great venue in Richmond for weddings and events. Our staff planned our first UBC Boathouse wedding this month and got the opportunity to turn a beautiful venue into a elegant and classy atmosphere for the bride and groom. Stunning views of the North Shore Mountains from a one of kind floating boathouse which boasts unparalleled outside viewing decks will be sure to make your gathering unique and memorable. Catering can be arranged privately, affording flexibility and competitive pricing to fit your requirements. For more information on this venue, visit www.ubcboathouse.com.

Summer 2009

The Summer of 2009 has been a memorable one. It is the season of weddings and our challenge this year was to decide what color not to use. Color trends use to come and go, but in 2009 and what seems to be a continuous trend for 2010, any color is the way to go. It is really exciting to see how creative we can get with accent colors for weddings. We have added purples, pinks, ivory, and shades of blue to our inventory. As promised, we have also added white and ivory Chair Wraps to our rentals list.

May 2009

Planning an outdoor ceremony in the Lower Mainland in May is always a risk, but we managed to pull it off. Judgement calls on all components of the ceremony were being made right up to the moment the bride walked up the ailse. Last minute tents were put in place, white umbrellas were given to the guests and rose petals were scattered on the along the walkway. As the wedding party arrived, the rain slowed down to give the bride her way to walk up the aisle. It was truly a beautiful ceremony surrounded by a garden of love and family.

April 2009

Times may be tough, but our philosophy is to always find a way and an excuse to celebrate. Happy employees make good companies great. Whether you want to motivate, entertain or innovate, Imagine That Events can help you plan an amazing event. Whether you want to organize a Family Fun Day, Corporate Themed Evening, Customer Appreciation Day, or a Staff Event, we can help. Our goal this year is to help businesses plan events within their budget and to keep celebrting no matter how tough the times are. We believe that a team that plays together stays together!

March 2009

A Wedding Affair on March 29, 2009 was a success. Our vendors were a pleasure to work with. It was a professional show that gave the 100 brides and their guests information and ideas to take with them. We plan on doing a wedding show twice a year and will post information for our fall show soon.

Spring is here and so is the busy start to a wedding season that is going to display some new trends that have arrived here in Vancouver. New rentals on our inventory list include chair wraps, taffetta sashes, various accessories for centrepieces, more colors for overlays and pintuck overlays. So far, shades of purple is the hottest color of the season.
